Hello Everyone!

I have decided to run a marathon. I have always wanted to run a marathon, but it has never been the right time.
Last year, I finished my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management through the University of Phoenix and now I have more free time for extracurricular activities.
I moved to Mobile in August of 2009. I got a job within two weeks of being here! Now that I have settled into my new job and the area I feel like it is time to give back to the community.
Not only do I want to accomplish my goals, but I want to give back to a worthy cause. I am so blessed and I have more than I need so I want to give back to people who have a need. I have my health, family, friends, a job, a place to live, and so much more. I thank God for those things everyday.
Team in Training will support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure luekemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. For more information go to http://www.teamintraining.org/al/
I am running to support our local honoree and I am also running in honor of my grandfather who died of cancer.

Donate online at
http://pages.teamintraining.org/al/nikesf10/kstanberry
Make checks payable to: LLS and mail to 1663 Hillcrest Road Apt 242 Mobile, AL 36695
I am asking 140 people to donate $25 and I will be at my goal of $3,500.

I remember a story about the butterfly effect that I have heard twice in the last week. It talks about how the flapping of a butterflies wing in Texas can cause a huge tornado or hurricane in South America. I believe that it is the small donations that make the BIGGEST difference.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.

Thank you in advance for your donations. Please fill out the card with your address and return to me with check or money order payable to LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society).

I will enter all of my donors into a drawing for raffle prizes. There will be over $500 worth of prizes donated by local businesses.

If you cannot donate, please support me by praying for me, calling me, emailing me, joining me on Facebook, following my blog, and sending me words of encouragement.

I only need 137 more people to donate $25 and I will have reached my goal!
